Tri-fold and Game - Due Date – May 22nd
State Fair Date - May 24th
(8:30 - 10:00 in the MPR)
Requirements : 8-10 sentences for each paragraph
1) History of the State – (EX- -American Indian Tribes, settlement by pioneers, etc.) - Paragraph
2) State Capital and Statehood (When became a state)
3) Climate (Seasons, Temp, Rainfall/Snow, etc-Paragraph
4) Natural Disasters- Paragraph
5) Natural Resources/physical features – Ex-rivers, lakes, canyons, plant and animal life, minerals, etc.)-Paragraph
6) Region(s) your state is in
7) Population – Most current #
8) Employment (Common jobs for that state)
9) National Parks or Historical Sites - Paragraph
10) Recreation – What people do for fun - Paragraph
11) State picture -
12) Flower name and picture
13) State Bird name and picture
14) State rock or Gem picture
15) State Seal and Motto pictures
16) Include Icons for the 6 paragraphs
Create a game that relates to your State and dress up like something that relates to your state.
